Let’s work on your biggest training goal together. Over the course of three sessions, we’ll build a solid training foundation to tackle one specific behavior. We’ll start with an hour-long deep dive into your goal, and follow-up with two half-hour sessions. After each session, you’ll get a write-up of your custom training plan. Example behaviors include nail trims, loose leash walking, polite greetings, door darting, nuisance barking, recall, potty training, and more. Let’s get you and your dog on the right track!

What Our Clients Say

“Methods That Are Loving And Supportive”

“Sarah was such a blessing to our family. In six weeks she equipped us with the dog training tools to help our family survive the destructive puppy months. Sarah has such a gift for understanding each dogs unique differences and supporting families with their pups. We appreciated that Sarah uses methods that are loving and supportive instead of harsh and aggressive while still having amazing and positive changes in our dogs behavior!”

Frequently Asked Questions

What methods of training do you use?

I use reward based, force-free methods of dog training. Positive reinforcement has been scientifically proven to be effective in teaching animals a new behavior or modifying an old one. I want the best for your pet and want you to see results, which is why I’m committed to only using positive reinforcement training.

Is virtual dog training as effective as in-person dog training?

In-person training is great for hands-on practice and practicing skills in a distracting environment, while virtual training lets me observe your dog’s behavior without any distractions for your dog. Virtual training often gives me the best window into seeing and understanding your dog’s behavior, since we’re not changing anything in their environment. Ultimately, the best option is what works best for you and your dog. Let’s discuss your needs! You can drop me an email (homeschooledhound@yahoo.com) or call or text me at (626) 655-1625. Whether we do virtual or in-person training, you’ll get clear guidance, personalized support, and practical steps you can use right away.
